We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer to join our distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders and then meticulously preparing them for shipment. Precision, speed, and a dedication to quality are key to success. As part of our logistics team, you will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering correct orders in a timely manner. We foster a safe and efficient working environment, and adherence to all guidelines is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Verify order accuracy by comparing picked items to order details.
- Pack items carefully and efficiently to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or similar warehouse roles is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Must wear required PPE at all times.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
