Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and safety-oriented Forklift Operator to join our large-scale distribution center in Los Angeles, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to manage the movement of goods throughout our facility. Your expertise will ensure that inventory is properly stored, retrieved, and prepared for shipment, contributing significantly to our logistics operations. We are committed to a culture of safety and expect all team members to rigorously follow all established protocols. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of safe operation and a keen understanding of warehouse environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered equipment to move, stack, and organize materials.
  • Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and maintaining safe operating procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and put-away tasks.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet operational targets within our logistics network.
  • Support other warehouse functions as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Forklift Operator experience.
  • Valid forklift certification recognized in California.
  • Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety and logistics best practices.
  • Ability to perform significant Lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Mandatory use of required PPE.
