We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Cincinnati, Ohio location. This critical role ensures the smooth and safe operation of our warehouse facility by maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing essential upkeep. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. Your proactive approach to maintenance will minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. You will also be involved in general facility maintenance and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. A thorough understanding of industrial equipment and a strong commitment to safety, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), are non-negotiable. This role may require occasional lifting of heavy components. The logistics of our operations depend on reliable equipment, making your role indispensable. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems).
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Support overall facility upkeep and organization.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics systems is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.
