You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to implement inventory control procedures, conduct cycle counts, investigate variances, and report findings. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure proper stock rotation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Assist in training new team members on inventory procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
