We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving a wide range of warehouse activities. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload materials from trucks, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Pick products according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, applying appropriate labels and documentation.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, staging them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Wear required PPE, including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots, at all times.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workplace.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs consistently, standing, walking, bending, and stooping for prolonged periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
