Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is fundamental to the success of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of products. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet operational goals and maintain a high standard of quality and safety. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement are key attributes for this position. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you can learn and grow within the logistics industry. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
  • Accurately stock inventory in designated locations using appropriate equipment.
  • Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
  • Support other warehouse functions as needed, including occasional lifting.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and best practices in logistics.
