This role may involve periodic lifting and requires a solid understanding of physical logistics demands. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and motivate warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure accuracy, optimal stock levels, and minimal loss.
- Develop and implement efficient operational procedures and workflows to enhance productivity.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and the proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to manage inbound and outbound shipments effectively.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, reporting any issues promptly.
- Analyze warehouse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage operational budgets and control costs within the department.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, including the importance of PPE.
- Ability to handle occasional lifting and physical tasks as required.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
