Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler for our busy distribution center in Miami, Florida. This role is essential for maintaining the efficient flow of goods throughout our logistics operations. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Store materials in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support the broader logistics team in achieving operational goals.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Willingness to wear all required PPE.
