You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory flow and minimize shrinkage. A meticulous approach, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with inventory management systems are essential. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, ensuring precision.
- Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and refine inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and reduce loss.
- Monitor stock rotation, expiration dates, and product handling to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with receiving, picking, and shipping teams to ensure smooth inventory transitions.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, providing insights to management.
- Ensure all materials are stored correctly and safely, adhering to logistics best practices.
- Enforce safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and the use of PPE.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and overall logistics.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role is required. Proficiency with WMS software and strong computer skills, including MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to perform duties that may involve lifting up to 30 pounds. Knowledge of safety regulations, including PPE requirements and safe lifting practices, is mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
