Join our growing logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Huntsville, Alabama. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are paramount to our success in fulfilling orders promptly and correctly. This position involves working closely with inventory management systems and ensuring that all outgoing packages meet our quality standards. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment for all our associates. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a key operation within the supply chain. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order requirements.
- Use handheld scanners to track picks and update inventory levels.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of merchandise.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to team goals and support other warehouse functions as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines.
