We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics hub in Sacramento, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse. This role is critical to our daily operations, ensuring that goods are handled with care and that workflows remain uninterrupted. You will work closely with the warehouse team to support loading and unloading procedures and maintain an organized storage system. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all operators to adhere to strict guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stack and retrieve materials from high shelves.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Knowledge of different types of forklifts and their operation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
