Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. A thorough understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics is essential. Your commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient inventory system is paramount. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excess stock.
  • Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve receiving and put-away accuracy.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of inventory storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, including those related to Safety and the proper use of PPE .
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new inventory management technologies and processes.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and Logistics .
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 pounds).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and best practices for stock handling.
  • Must adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE .
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
