We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily activities within our bustling facility in Tampa, Florida. This role is critical for ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, supervising warehouse staff, and optimizing workflow. If you have a strong background in Logistics and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE .
- Coordinate with transportation carriers for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, arranging for repairs as needed.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for operational oversight and reporting.
- Address and resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly.
- Monitor and manage labor costs and operational expenses.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination, supervision, or management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for workplace Safety .
- Must be able to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 pounds).
- Must ensure all staff adhere to PPE requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
