Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and prepare all outgoing shipments.
- Verify order details and shipping information for accuracy.
- Generate shipping labels and required documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track deliveries.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain organized shipping records and update the WMS.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the correct use of PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory tasks as needed, which may include lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computers and shipping software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Physical ability to handle packages and perform moderate lifting.
