We are hiring a diligent Warehouse Worker for our facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be a key player in our warehouse operations, responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the efficient handling and storage of goods. Your duties will encompass receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, contributing to the overall success of our Logistics department. We prioritize a safe and productive work environment, and we are looking for individuals who are committed to these principles. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Sort and store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory rotation (e.g., FIFO).
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, meeting productivity standards.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, documentation, and staging.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring the safe and secure transport of goods.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and actively participate in maintaining a safe workplace.
- Properly use all required PPE , including safety vests, gloves, and appropriate footwear.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory verification as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts and assist colleagues to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding and adherence to Safety procedures and the correct usage of PPE .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles is a plus.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime if required.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team dynamic in our Logistics hub.
