We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will be an integral part of our supply chain operations, contributing to timely deliveries and efficient warehouse management. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles with precision and care.
- Transport materials and inventory to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and stage products according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations using our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as sweeping, organizing, and tidying up work areas.
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space and proper product rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to Safety protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours if required.
- Proficiency in using appropriate PPE .
