We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art logistics facility. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that products are handled, processed, and prepared for shipment accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, receiving and stocking inventory, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate methods.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (forklift certification a plus, training provided).
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, including work stations and common areas.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Comply with all requirements for proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
