Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, applying labels and staging them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Strictly follow all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory control procedures and assist with stocktaking as needed.
- Support the broader Logistics operations and assist colleagues as required.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with warehouse work, including standing for extended periods and Lifting up to 50 lbs. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for motivated individuals. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail is crucial for order accuracy. Must be reliable and punctual. A commitment to safety is paramount. This role is essential for the efficient flow of goods and plays a key part in our operational success in Portland.
