New Resource Recruitment is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Plant Operative to join a leading waste management and recycling company in Amesbury.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary, stable shifts, and an excellent benefits package.
Working Hours - 42.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm

About the Role As a Mobile Plant Operative, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant on site. You will work closely with the Site Supervisor to ensure all equipment is maintained, operations are compliant, and the site runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Operate fixed and mobile plant safely and efficiently
Carry out repairs, maintenance, and daily checks on plant and machinery
Ensure equipment is operated and maintained according to manufacturer guidance and company schedules
Maintain a clean and tidy site
Assist with environmental compliance tasks such as odour monitoring and record-keeping
Provide support for weighbridge, office, and other administrative duties as requiredWork collaboratively as part of a team
About You The ideal candidate will :
Hold a current licence to operate a telescopic handler and 360 excavator (essential)
Be physically fit for manual handling tasks
Have a proactive, team-oriented approach
Experience in waste management, recycling, quarrying, or industrial operations is advantageous but not essential
