All About Cats Veterinary Hospital is a cat-only clinic in Kirkland looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to bring skill and talent to our friendly and fun-filled practice.* Do you long to spend your working life in the company of felines, their caregivers, and a medical team focused on excellent feline veterinary care? We love to help mentor employees to gain skills and expertise in our modern, state-of-the-art facility with excellent doctors, an LVT, and Veterinary Assistants.
*Duties:*
* Assisting the Veterinarian in all medical procedures
* Managing feline treatments
* Monitoring hospitalized and surgical patients
* Performing routine dental cleanings and digital dental radiographs
* Conducting patient discharge discussions including post-operative care and medication administration
* Providing client education in-person and over the phone
* Managing in-house pharmacy and monitoring online pharmacy
* Maintaining accurate medical and pharmacy records
* Maintaining surgery, anesthesia, radiology, and QC logs
* Scheduling appointments and surgeries
* Lifting up to 40 pounds unassisted
* Working on your feet 8-10 hours per day
*Qualifications*
* Veterinary Technician Associate License (or equivalent)
* One year of experience in the Veterinary field
* Proficiency in handling felines of all temperaments
* Excellent computer skills
* Strong client communication skills to effectively interact with feline caregivers and team members
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* A genuine love for felines and commitment to their care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.50 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
