This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that all products leave our warehouse correctly and on schedule. You will be responsible for preparing shipments, managing shipping documentation, and coordinating with our transportation partners. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount in this position, as is a strong commitment to Safety. All employees are required to follow established Safety procedures and wear the necessary PPE. While the role may involve some moderate Lifting, the primary focus is on meticulous organization and accurate processing of outgoing goods. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Generate shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate.
- Verify order details against shipment contents prior to dispatch.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain organized and accurate shipping records.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly shipping area.
- Adhere to all workplace Safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and shipping software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of Logistics processes and shipping procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks involving some moderate Lifting.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards and wearing required PPE.
- Strong communication skills.
