Seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker for our San Francisco, California location. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment within our bustling logistics facility. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction. This position requires a high level of organization, physical capability, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to order lists, using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, minimizing damage.
- Stage completed orders for shipping carriers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all warehouse and logistics safety guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming goods as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs, employing safe lifting techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
