Our logistics company in San Francisco, California, is hiring a proactive and experienced Warehouse Coordinator! This role is central to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and supervising warehouse staff. This is a leadership opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of warehouse processes and a passion for team management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in warehouse coordination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve effectively. A solid understanding of logistics principles and best practices is essential. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere strictly to safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE. Key responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity; Manage inventory control, including cycle counts and physical inventories; Oversee the receiving and shipping processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and protocols; Train new warehouse associates; Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness; Communicate with other departments and external partners regarding logistics matters. Must possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage physical tasks as needed. Your commitment to safety in all logistics activities is paramount.
