We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our busy e-commerce facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders quickly and accurately. Your responsibilities will include picking products from shelves, packing items securely for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. You will use technology, such as scanners and warehouse management systems, to track orders and inventory. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is crucial to meet customer expectations and maintain operational efficiency within our logistics framework. You must be committed to following all safety protocols, including the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and will be involved in frequent lifting and moving of products. We are looking for team-oriented individuals who are reliable and eager to contribute to our success. Previous experience in a fulfillment center, warehouse, or logistics role is advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order details against products picked.
- Process and label shipments for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
