Join our team as a Shipping Clerk at our Chicago, Illinois distribution center. In this role, you will play a key part in the outbound logistics process, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately processed, documented, and prepared for carrier pickup. Your responsibilities will include verifying order details, selecting appropriate shipping materials, packaging items securely, and generating shipping labels and manifests. You will work closely with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments. Maintaining an organized shipping area and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly are also key duties. A strong commitment to Safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate Lifting, often up to 45 lbs, when preparing shipments. Good organizational skills and a meticulous approach to documentation are vital for success. Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals is advantageous.
