Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, stack, and unstack materials.
- Safely transport goods from receiving to storage, and from storage to shipping areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues or needed repairs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Participate in regular safety training and maintain awareness of potential hazards.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and location verification.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and loading docks.
- Comply with all company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
