Join our growing team as an Inventory Clerk in our bustling Detroit, Michigan facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the overall integrity of our stock. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a dedication to operational efficiency within our logistics network. You will work collaboratively with warehouse management and associates to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, contributing to seamless order processing and fulfillment. We pride ourselves on a safe working environment and provide comprehensive training. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Receive, tag, and properly store incoming inventory.
- Generate inventory reports and analyze stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring easy access to all items.
- Assist with the receiving and put-away processes.
- Monitor stock rotation and identify any obsolete or slow-moving items.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Understanding of safe lifting techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
