We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in the heart of New York City, New York. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. We prioritize a safe and efficient working environment, ensuring all team members understand and follow best practices. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items from shelves based on order requirements.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure they are protected during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting or similar role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics is helpful.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to Safety regulations.
- Must wear required PPE , including safety shoes.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
