Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify against purchase orders.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and speed.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training available).
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, focusing on Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all operational goals are met.
- Process returns and manage damaged goods appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or similar role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and Logistics processes.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must wear required PPE , including safety shoes and vests.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
