Are you a natural leader with a passion for optimizing warehouse operations? Our expanding logistics company in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment. Your primary focus will be to manage staff, establish operational procedures, and ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods. You will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse associates, providing training, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of inventory management, safety protocols, and operational efficiency is essential. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment and expect all supervisors to champion the use of PPE and enforce strict safety guidelines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: directing and supervising warehouse staff, developing and implementing operational strategies, managing inventory levels and accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. You will also be instrumental in improving processes, reducing costs, and enhancing overall productivity within the distribution center. This role involves significant interaction with team members and may require occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Your expertise will be vital in driving our logistics success in Indianapolis.
Responsibilities:
