*Summary*
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team at Shelly Leeke Law Firm. This role is pivotal in advocating for clients in personal injury cases and will involve extensive research, client contact, and legal drafting. The position is based in the Columbia, South Carolina office and offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of those we represent.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
* Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiations.
* Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
* Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
* Provide legal advice to clients regarding personal injury claims.
* Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting practice areas.
*Requirements*
* 2-4 Years of relevant experience in personal injury preferred.
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
* Strong research and writing skills essential for effective advocacy.
* Experience in personal injury law preferred but not required.
* Ability to litigate cases effectively and efficiently.
