We are looking for a skilled and driven Playwright Automation QA Engineer to join our team and help deliver high quality enterprise insurance applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust automated testing solutions that ensure reliability and performance across policy, billing, claims, and reporting systems. You will work closely with development, QA, data, and business teams in a collaborative Agile environment to support end to end quality assurance efforts. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for modern web based insurance applications. Create and execute UI, API, and end to end automated test scenarios covering critical insurance workflows such as policy administration, billing, claims, and rating. Perform automated regression, smoke, and sanity testing to support frequent releases and continuous delivery. Validate data flows and reports generated through enterprise data and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Integrate automated test suites with CI CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to drive timely resolution. Maintain and enhance automation frameworks, reusable components, and test utilities to improve efficiency and scalability. Ensure strong test coverage for key business scenarios and regulatory requirements. Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution summaries, defect metrics, and quality reports for stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong hands on experience with Playwright test automation. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for automation development. Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts including policy lifecycle, rating, billing, and underwriting. Experience testing enterprise web applications and APIs. Working knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques. Familiarity with CI CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. Experience working in Agile or Scrum based delivery teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter. Exposure to validating ETL processes and downstream reporting solutions. Experience with cloud based insurance platforms and environments. Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Three to six years of experience in test automation and quality assurance, preferably within the insurance domain.
