*The Role*
We’re looking for a proactive *2nd Line IT Support Engineer* to resolve escalated issues, support varied client environments, and contribute to service improvements. *We offer funded certifications and career progression opportunities*, so you can grow your skills and advance your career. You’ll work from home but need to be within *20 miles of Littlehampton* for occasional site visits (*own transport required*).
Other organisations may refer to this role as: Support Analyst, Helpdesk Analyst, 2nd Line Engineer, Technical Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or Helpdesk Engineer.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Resolve 2nd line tickets across desktop, server, network, and cloud.
* Escalate complex issues to 3rd line when needed.
* Assist with client onboarding and small projects.
* Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
* Mentor 1st line engineers and contribute to team goals.
* Travel to client sites as required.
*Skills & Experience*
* 4+ years in IT support (MSP experience preferred).
* Strong Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking fundamentals.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving licence and reliable transport.
*Technical Skills Required*
You’ll need strong experience in the following technologies:
Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune), Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Windows 11, Active Directory, DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, Group Policy, Hyper-V, Networking, VoIP. _(Microsoft certifications desirable.)_
