The successful candidate will be reliable, possess excellent physical stamina for tasks involving significant Lifting, and demonstrate a commitment to following all safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Efficiently move materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts (if certified).
- Receive, unpack, and stock incoming materials according to established procedures.
- Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments or production lines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, adhering strictly to safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow continuity and meet operational targets.
- Always utilize the appropriate PPE.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in a material handler or warehouse position.
- Must be capable of frequent and heavy Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
