Currently, we are developing technology to increase tunneling speed and reduce costs significantly, with the goal of making Hyperloop adoption feasible and enabling rapid transit in densely populated areas. As part of the Software team in Las Vegas, you will focus on building and operating the Vegas Loop, a 78-mile, 108-station underground transportation system. Responsibilities
Architect and implement high-quality, safety-critical control software for Vegas Loop traffic management. Iterate and optimize traffic control algorithms for maximum efficiency. Design and develop automation software for Vegas Loop operations. Provide troubleshooting support during Vegas Loop operational hours. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Experience developing and maintaining backend systems in C, C++, Go, or Rust. Strong understanding of computer networking (TCP/IP, sockets, HTTP). Experience with concurrent programming and distributed systems. Experience designing and testing algorithms for computational problems. Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages. Strong debugging and quantitative reasoning skills. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) including schema design and query optimization. Background in cybersecurity and secure coding practices. Experience developing safety-critical and real-time systems. Experience with iOS development. Additional Requirements
Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary. Seniority Level
