Senior Backend Engineer
to join us in scaling the backend infrastructure that powers our AI systems.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Integrate and serve LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, or open-source models) in production
Collaborate with ML engineers and product teams to deliver intelligent, scalable features
Build and optimize data pipelines for inference, prompt processing, and model fine-tuning
Architect systems that balance performance, security, and maintainability
Own projects end-to-end-from architecture and implementation to testing and monitoring
What We're Looking For
5+ years of backend software development experience
Strong proficiency with Python and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)
Experience deploying and working with LLMs in real-world products
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with data pipeline tools and task queues (Airflow, Celery, etc.)
Product mindset-you think beyond code and care about usability, performance, and impact
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have)
Experience with FastAPI
Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS)
Prompt engineering or fine-tuning experience with LLMs
Background in NLP, search, or applied ML
Experience building dev tools, SaaS, or productivity platforms
