Our location We are a UK company with colleagues across the country and offices in Dundee and Edinburgh. This Sales Manager role is field-based, covering the South of England. Regular travel across the region is required, with a mix of remote work and in-person time visiting retailer partners and regional hubs.
About the team You will join the Commercial team, working closely with Partnerships, Account Management, Marketing and Operations. The team is collaborative and fast-moving; everyone contributes ideas and supports one another to grow retailer adoption and success.
About the role As Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and growing our retail partner network across the region. You will use a consultative sales approach to win new stores and ensure they are set up for excellent onboarding and ongoing support. This is a hands‑on role suited to a commercially minded individual who enjoys building relationships and delivering measurable outcomes.
Your day‑to‑day will include :
Prospecting and closing new retail partnerships across Southern England, both independent shops and convenience chains
Managing a pipeline through CRM to hit regional revenue and activation targets
Conducting in‑person visits and product demonstrations to retailers and local decision‑makers
Collaborating with onboarding, marketing and operations to ensure smooth rollout and retailer success
Identifying opportunities for revenue growth, upsells and marketing campaigns at store level
Providing market feedback to the product and marketing teams to help shape propositions for retailers
Reporting on regional performance, forecasting and territory planning
This is a role for someone who is self‑motivated, organised and comfortable working autonomously in the field while maintaining strong links with the wider team.
To be successful in this role, you’ll be / have :
Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally with retail or FMCG‑facing experience
Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing a sales pipeline
Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple accounts and projects
Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales tools; tech‑savvy and quick to learn new platforms
Self‑starter who can plan a territory, prioritise activities and work to deadlines
Bonus points for experience working with convenience retailers, independents, or experience in quick commerce or delivery sectors.
