Framing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Wood Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has experience with residential and/or commercial framing, works well independently or with a crew, and takes pride in producing high-quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair wood framing for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools
• Install windows, doors, sheathing, blocking, and hardware
• Ensure all work meets building codes and quality standards
• Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean work area
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a wood framing carpenter (2-5 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of framing techniques and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience with commercial framing
• OSHA 10/30 certification
• Ability to lead small crews

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
