Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a challenging role in San Francisco, California? We are hiring for a dynamic position focused on the safe and efficient operation of forklifts within our busy warehouse. Your primary duties will involve moving, stacking, and organizing a wide range of materials and products. Excellent knowledge of forklift mechanics, safety procedures, and warehouse logistics is essential. You will be responsible for conducting pre-operation inspections, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all operations comply with OSHA regulations and company Safety policies. Wearing appropriate PPE is mandatory at all times. This role requires physical stamina, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport inventory to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment.
- Report any mechanical issues or Safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure product integrity.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety rules and regulations.
- Wear required PPE consistently and correctly.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Valid forklift operator certification and at least 2 years of experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and physical exertion.
- Familiarity with logistics operations and inventory management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
