Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our innovative team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and conduct necessary repairs on machinery, conveyor systems, and other warehouse infrastructure. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is required. We are committed to a safe working environment, emphasizing the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety protocols. This position plays a key role in the overall logistics and operational success of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid equipment failures.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
  • Assist with inventory management and organization as needed.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure operational continuity.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or process improvements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
