Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of our busy warehouse in San Francisco, California. This vital role requires a leader who can ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all warehouse activities. You will be responsible for coordinating the workflow of warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, optimizing storage solutions, and ensuring that all logistics processes are executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations. Your ability to motivate a team and drive continuous improvement will be key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and storage strategies.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet demand.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely outbound shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
  • Analyze warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and general warehouse safety procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
