Seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our vibrant logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will meticulously pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists, verify quantities, and then expertly pack them for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and a commitment to quality are key. You will play a vital part in the entire order fulfillment process, from retrieval to dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using provided tools (scanners, pick sheets).
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against customer orders.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Assist with restocking and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic and overall logistics efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy.
- Ability to work at a consistent pace in a dynamic environment.
- Understanding of general logistics and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of wearing PPE.
