We are seeking efficient and organized individuals to accurately select items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our success, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in excellent condition and on time. You will work within a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing scanning technology and following established procedures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stage completed orders for quality control and dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing or warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand order details and instructions.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
