We are hiring an experienced Reach Truck Operator for our advanced warehouse facility in Provo, Utah. This specialized role requires proficiency in operating a reach truck to manage inventory at various heights. You will be responsible for moving, locating, retrieving, and organizing palletized materials efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment. Accuracy in inventory management and adherence to operational procedures are paramount. This position involves working in a potentially fast-paced setting, requiring quick decision-making and precise movements. We are dedicated to employee safety, and the use of proper PPE is mandatory at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials from racking systems.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring secure placement of goods.
- Perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance on the reach truck.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina for warehouse work.
- Reliability and a strong commitment to safety in all tasks.
