We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our vibrant logistics center in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This fast-paced position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. You will utilize various tools and systems to locate products, verify quantities, and ensure that orders are assembled correctly. The ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of quality is essential. You will also be responsible for packaging the items securely to prevent damage during transit. This is a critical role in our supply chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth within our dynamic logistics company.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves and storage locations based on order details.
- Use scanning equipment to verify picked items and quantities.
- Pack selected items into appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring secure and protective packaging.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is beneficial.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting, typically up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Must wear provided PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
