We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our vibrant team in Chicago, Illinois! As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to the efficient movement of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely (certification may be required).
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage and lifting techniques.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Experience with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) is beneficial.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
