Join our busy logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Richmond, Virginia. This position is critical to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or RF scanners, ensuring the correct product and quantity are selected. Following the picking process, you will proceed to the packing station to prepare orders for shipment. This involves selecting appropriate packing materials, ensuring items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit, and applying shipping labels. Accuracy and speed are key performance indicators for this role. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area is essential. You must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety glasses. This role requires physical stamina, including frequent walking, standing, bending, and twisting. The ability to perform consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs is a must. We are looking for individuals who are team players, reliable, and eager to contribute to our logistics success. Experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is preferred.
