Join our innovative team as a Warehouse Technician in Raleigh, North Carolina! This role requires a skilled individual capable of maintaining and troubleshooting warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics infrastructure. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and supporting the operational needs of our warehouse. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to safety are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of all equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Assist operational teams with equipment troubleshooting and operational support.
- Ensure proper functioning of safety systems and emergency equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order necessary components.
- Support the implementation of new equipment and technologies.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations and logistics.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in diagnosing and repairing equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve moderate Lifting and working in various warehouse environments.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
