We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our bustling warehouse in Provo, Utah. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining the organization of our warehouse. Safety and efficiency are our top priorities, and we need individuals who are committed to upholding these standards. This position is key to our daily logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage areas, and shipping docks.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Ensure that all lifting operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Organize and stack materials in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Follow company policies and procedures for warehouse operations.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate various types of forklifts.
- Experience with heavy Lifting and moving large quantities of goods.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment.
