We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our supply chain and requires a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. You will be handling a variety of materials, from small components to larger goods, ensuring they are correctly identified, logged, and placed in designated storage areas. This position involves physical work, including regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Attention to detail is paramount when managing inventory and ensuring the correct items are dispatched. We foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to optimizing warehouse processes. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, performing regular equipment checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adherence to all company Safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while in the warehouse.
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse space.
- Follow all guidelines related to safe Lifting practices.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
